The 46th International Meeting of Heliciculture and the 12th Festival of the Snail in Gastronomy took place in Cherasco from 29 September to 2 October, with the evocative title “We call them snails”. There were four days of celebration, animated by a series of initiatives designed to involve all categories: interested in heliciculture, passionate consumers of snails.

The Internationalization of the Snail

The International Institute of Heliciculture Chiocciola Metodo Cherasco has signed a cooperation agreement with the Fédération interprofessionelle de l’Héliciculture du Marocc that will lead to the birth of the Accademia della Chiocciola in Marrakech.
A very important international confirmation of the essence of our path that tends towards a circular system of sustainable entrepreneurship in order to create resources and jobs in the Moroccan territory.

AGRICULTURAL FAIR 2018 -VERONA-

Heliciculture 2.0 confirms its leading role and convinces with its projects

The FIERAGRICOLA, a biennial international fair dedicated to agriculture, recognized as a reference showcase for the entire primary sector, was held in Verona from January 31 to February 3.
The International Institute of Heliciculture participated in this extraordinary appointment with a stand designed to offer visitors the opportunity to see and understand all the activities related to this sector: from the breeding of gastronomy snails to the transformation of the product, from the use of snail slime in the cosmetic, medical and veterinary fields, up to teaching for children and training for adults.
